Ararat in Wurzburg

Really awesome. We have been to the restaurant a couple of times. Today we ordered for the first time because unfortunately eating on site is currently not an option: We ate across the menu once and found every meal to be perfect, without exception. Lamb and roast beef to the point, the garlic potatoes cross and everything really hot!) Simply very tasty and well-seasoned cuisine presented by a friendly team. Gladly again!

Ordered via delivery service for the first time today. No loss of quality compared to on-site. Food came on time, was still hot and just delicious !! But we are still happy when we can eat in the restaurant again. But we will order again during the lockdown!

We went there for the first time in May 2019 and loved it. Cozy atmosphere and very nice service. Although we had made a reservation, we unfortunately had to wait a bit for our food as a larger group came after us and were served first. That should not happen. The food was well presented and the taste was convincing. The calamari and the meat alone were wonderfully tender and perfectly seasoned. That the garlic potatoes, for example, come from the freezer should be included in the price, so I think it's overpriced. In general, the portions are unfortunately very small, but they taste delicious. We can recommend the Ararat and would be happy to come back :-)

The service was just great, friendly and very attentive. The quality and quantity of the dishes was also exceptional, both fish and meat. We will be back without a doubt!

Nice shop. The landlord looks like you don't want to run into him on the street at night, but he's a really cool and easy-going guy. My food was great, but that of my wife was really good for the feet (frozen vegetables in the pan, done). The prices are in the upper range.

Great Turkish restaurant, charmingly furnished with details typical of the country ... large selection of traditional dishes, and everything was very tasty ... we especially liked the friendly staff ... a top address in WÜ for us, which we will definitely return to ...

Great service, great food, great atmosphere ... simply recommendable! We like to come back again and again, even if it's a long journey.

Service really super super nice and friendly !!!! The taste of the food wasn't quite my cup of tea. I had the veggi pot, which was very unseasoned for me and the cauliflower was unfortunately not fresh. Overall, the portion could have been more. The starter was super delicious! Wouldn't necessarily come back though

Our first visit to Ararat exceeded all of our expectations! Operation- 1A! The food was very, very tasty! I can only warmly recommend the shop.

Very courteous service. Already with the table reservation. We came with a wheelchair user and we were helped immediately and as a matter of course. The food was delicious and plentiful. We can only recommend it and would love to come back.

Were eating there with a larger group (before Corona). I had a lentil soup as a starter. This was delicious. Main courses were also delicious and important, the food was served hot! The service was very attentive and friendly! Lovely again.

A hidden gem in Würzburg. You feel like you are in Istanbul. The decor and food give you the feeling of a temporary vacation. This is not a schnell imbiss (fast food). This is a Turkish Restaurant with a wide variety of traditional Turkish food. I had the 23 Mantarli Pilic Güvec (chicken, mushrooms, and cauliflower in a white wine sauce) with garlic potatoes. I will take my family there again!

Tried it based on the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor, but found the food just average. The owners are very friendly, though, and make the whole experience more enjoyable.

Went there twice with Turkish friends, it's something to do. Very nice food, sometimes spicy, sometimes with garlic. Don't hesitate to ask and tell them if you would like without. The service is very friendly. And the terrace is a plus during the summer.

If you're looking for some Turkish delicacies which are something else than Döner Kebap, this might be your spot. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and filling dishes, including lamb and fish. The restaurant itself looks a bit rustic, but it's still cozy.
